COVERING MARY STEWART: fun fabrics, group one

Stewart's first four novels in my "fun fabrics" iterations. Madam, Will You Talk? got a Provencal fabric-inspired treatment, Wildfire at Midnight an argyle, a pattern apparently derived from the Clan Campbell tartan. Thunder on the Right, which takes an isolated mountainside convent for one of its main settings, got a pattern that has a sort of stained-glass-meets-floral vibe. Nine Coaches Waiting is the least literal of this group; I came across the pattern on rawpixel.com and was immediately reminded of the somewhat spiky floral textiles that swathe some entire traditional French rooms from walls to curtains and coverings.

Some  notes on the inspiration and process of this set can be found here.
