COVERING MARY STEWART: fun fabrics, group two

The second group of my "fun fabrics" Mary Stewart covers (general notes on this approach here). Three out of the four novels, the exception being The Ivy Tree, are set in Greece; my covers "nod" gently at some of the colors as well as three Greek patterns: the Greek key, the "evil eye," and a Greek tile design. Unlike my "vivid layers" series of Stewart covers, these motifs don't relate in any specific way to the elements of the plots. As I've said elsewhere, they answer the playful question "would this heroine wear a dress in this pattern?" rather than the more literal "what items and elements feature in this story?"
